Where the story starts
Niyi started his construction career at Southway Builders after graduating from Project JumpStart. Like every graduate, he came through our pipeline with safety certification, hands-on skills training, and workplace readiness already in place, prepared to contribute from day one rather than spend his first weeks learning the basics on the job.
Where it has led
Today, Niyi is a Construction Manager at HNTB Corporation, working on the Purple Line, one of the largest infrastructure builds in the region. That is not a small step up from an entry-level craft role. It reflects years of growth, opportunity, and the kind of trajectory that is possible when structured training meets a genuine chance to build a career.
