Construction Is Not Just Hammers and Nails
Every entry-level job in construction can pave the way to a rewarding career as a professional or craftsperson with the ability to make a middle-class living. Some go on to make more than a $100,000 a year or even become business owners themselves.
Electricians play a vital role in bringing homes to life, building our nation's power grid, and installing new forms of energy like solar, wind, and nuclear power. Skilled carpenters are in demand throughout the construction industry, whether it's creating new structures, renovating existing ones, or crafting exquisite finishes. Explore these and other diverse opportunities to discover where your interests and talents align best. And don’t forget, once you gain the skills needed, starting your own business is also an option.
